Each issue of Archive magazine contains a selection
of articles covering many of the subjects within these fields,
mainly from a photographic basis, but also including an informative
background history, as well as extensive captions to the pictures.
Through the medium of the illustrations we endeavour to present
a fresh and exciting approach to the topics covered.
The articles in Archive are based around the
photographs, mostly using extended captions and usually with
a detailed text as well. Much of the material used is extremely
historic and we strive to present as much previously unpublished
material as possible. From a base of preparing much of each
issue ourselves, over 90% of the articles now come from outside
contributors, including many regulars plus occasional pieces
from such august bodies as the Science Museum and Kew Bridge
Steam Museum.
Now in its tenth year of publication, from the
outset we set ourselves production standards in terms of paper
and print quality which would bring out the best in the pictures.
ARCHIVE is published quarterly. |
