This is the final volume bringing presenting many of Sid Rickard's photographs of railways in South Wales.
The theme of the first two volumes concentrated on trains working mostly in the Cardiff valleys. This volume has greater coverage of main line subjects, virtually all of which have been sub-divided into groups depending on the classification of the train itself, from class A, express passenger, to class K, the local or stopping goods.
